You have 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, particularly in building scalable systems from scratch. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure that the systems you build meet evolving requirements. Your strong problem-solving skills enable you to select the right tools, frameworks, and design patterns to create maintainable and high-performance codebases.

Desirable

Experience with cloud-based shipping software or eCommerce platforms is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern best practices in software development will help you excel in this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Easyship, you will design and develop greenfield systems using Java or Kotlin, owning the full lifecycle from day one. You will drive design decisions, selecting the right tools and frameworks to meet the needs of the business. Your role will involve building scalable, maintainable, and high-performance codebases while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
