You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in backend development, and have a strong foundation in Java and Spring Boot — you've built scalable applications and understand the intricacies of microservices architecture. Your expertise extends to cloud platforms and container orchestration with Kubernetes, enabling you to deploy and manage applications effectively in cloud environments.

You are familiar with messaging services like RabbitMQ, which allows you to design systems that are both robust and efficient — you understand how to implement asynchronous communication between services to enhance system performance. Knowledge of Groovy/Grails is a plus, as it complements your Java skills and allows you to work on diverse projects.

What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Saviynt, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend services that support IAM and Identity Governance solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers and other engineers to define technical requirements and ensure that the solutions you build align with user needs.

You will lead the development of microservices that are resilient and performant, utilizing Java and Spring Boot as your primary technologies. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and conducting code reviews to uphold high standards of quality within the team.

You will also be involved in deploying applications using Kubernetes, ensuring that they are configured for optimal performance and reliability in cloud environments. Your expertise in messaging services like RabbitMQ will be crucial in designing systems that can handle high volumes of transactions efficiently.
