Overview
Ekimetrics is seeking a Lead AI Research Engineer specializing in Bayesian statistics and modeling. You'll work on innovative AI solutions and collaborate with industry and academic partners. This role requires expertise in Python and machine learning methodologies.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in Bayesian statistics and modeling, with a proven track record of applying these techniques to real-world problems. Your expertise in Python allows you to develop and implement complex algorithms effectively, and you are familiar with various machine learning frameworks. You understand the importance of reproducibility in model validation and have experience with MLOps practices to ensure that models are deployed efficiently and effectively.
You possess a deep understanding of statistical modeling and data analysis, enabling you to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets. Your experience with deep learning techniques and frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow allows you to tackle challenging AI problems. You are also knowledgeable about JAX and its applications in large-scale Bayesian inference, which enhances your ability to work on cutting-edge research projects.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders. Your strong communication skills enable you to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, fostering a shared understanding of project goals and methodologies.
Desirable
Experience with marketing optimization models, such as Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), attribution, and A/B testing, is a plus. Familiarity with causal inference frameworks like DoWhy and CausalPy will further enhance your contributions to the team. You are also encouraged to explore frameworks based on JAX for large-scale Bayesian inference, as this knowledge will be beneficial in your role.
What you'll do
As a Lead AI Research Engineer at Ekimetrics, you will lead research initiatives focused on AI and machine learning, collaborating with both industrial and academic partners. You will be responsible for designing and implementing state-of-the-art algorithms tailored to specific business challenges, ensuring that your solutions are both innovative and practical.
You will work closely with a team of experts to test and adapt algorithms, creating new methodologies that drive business impact. Your role will involve conducting experiments, analyzing results, and iterating on your approaches to continuously improve model performance. You will also mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster their growth and development.
In addition to research, you will engage in the deployment of models, ensuring that they are integrated into business processes effectively. You will be involved in the validation of Bayesian models, applying MLOps principles to maintain high standards of reproducibility and reliability in your work.
