What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Elasticsearch team, you will oversee the development of the core platform that powers search for Elastic’s customers. You will lead a globally-distributed team of engineers, focusing on building search functionality using the new piped query language ES|QL. Your responsibilities will include participating in roadmap and project planning efforts, ensuring that your team delivers innovative solutions in logs and metrics management. You will work closely with the Tech Lead and Product Manager to align on project objectives and timelines. Your role will also involve mentoring team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, and driving the adoption of best practices in software development.
