What you'll do

As a Port Electrical Technician, you will assist in the production process by troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical aspects of production equipment. You will perform installation and maintenance work while adhering to OSHA and Enviva standards. Your role will involve inspecting and maintaining heavy equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant electrical standards and codes.

You will troubleshoot electrical issues related to PLC-controlled devices and motor control centers, using various tools such as multi-meters and process meters. Your responsibilities will include wiring, troubleshooting, and repairing AC/DC circuits and equipment, as well as replacing wiring and addressing electrical issues in distribution equipment. You will also engage with communication and IT technologies to ensure seamless operations.
