What you'll do

As an Electrical Technician at Enviva, you will play a crucial role in the production process by performing installation and maintenance work on electrical systems. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical issues related to PLC-controlled devices, motor control centers, and VFDs. Your responsibilities will include wiring, troubleshooting, and repairing AC/DC circuits and equipment, ensuring compliance with OSHA and Enviva standards.

You will conduct inspections and maintenance of heavy equipment, maintaining adherence to workplace safety practices and electrical standards. Your technical support will be vital in analyzing production data to improve safety, uptime, quality, and energy consumption. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all electrical devices, equipment, sensors, and fixtures are functioning optimally, contributing to a sustainable wood bioenergy future.
