Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with a strong background in functional, system, and regression testing of enterprise applications. Your hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman allows you to validate backend services and data flows effectively. You possess a solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and Agile delivery models, which enables you to collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams.

Your analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are excellent, allowing you to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria with product managers and engineers. You are a quality advocate who enjoys mentoring junior QA engineers on best practices and standards, fostering a culture of quality within the team.

What you'll do

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will own the quality for assigned enterprise systems and contribute to the end-to-end test strategy across releases. You will design, maintain, and execute functional, regression, system, UAT, and exploratory test cases for complex applications. Your role will involve executing API and integration testing to validate backend services, data flows, and system integrations.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria, ensuring that quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle. Identifying opportunities to improve test coverage and efficiency through tooling and automation will be a key part of your responsibilities.

Logging, tracking, and triaging defects will be essential, as you partner with engineering teams to validate fixes and support release readiness. Your mentorship will help junior QA engineers develop their skills and adhere to quality standards, making a significant impact on the team's overall performance.
