You are proficient in Python and have hands-on experience with automation frameworks, which allows you to create efficient test scripts for end-to-end product testing.

Your analytical skills are top-notch — you can analyze test results using various logs and monitoring tools, identifying weak points in existing automated processes to improve efficiency and reliability. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Development, DevOps, and TechOps teams to align automation goals with company strategy.

You are familiar with Agile methodologies and actively participate in Agile software development activities, including standups and sprint planning. Your commitment to continuous improvement drives you to contribute to the enhancement of automation practices within the team.

What you'll do

As a Senior QA Engineer at Five9, you will be responsible for performing automated testing of Five9 products using Python-based automation frameworks. When required, you will also conduct manual verification of products to ensure quality standards are met. Your role involves developing new test scripts and supporting, maintaining, and extending existing automation frameworks to keep pace with product evolution.

You will analyze test results meticulously, utilizing test framework logs and product logs to derive insights that inform product quality. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will be crucial in aligning automation efforts with the broader company strategy, ensuring that quality assurance is integrated into the development process from the outset.

In addition to your testing responsibilities, you will identify areas for improvement in existing automated processes, proposing and implementing solutions that enhance the overall efficiency and reliability of the testing framework. Your contributions will play a key role in the continuous improvement of automation practices within the Software Quality Engineering organization.
