Who you are
You have significant experience in compliance, particularly in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and data protection, with a strong understanding of local and international regulatory requirements. As a designated AMLRO, you are familiar with the responsibilities that come with this key management position, ensuring that compliance practices are effectively integrated into business operations. Your qualifications reflect your expertise in maintaining compliance policies and procedures, particularly in line with ISO 27001:2022 standards. You are detail-oriented and capable of conducting thorough risk assessments and investigations into suspicious transactions, ensuring that all activities are documented accurately.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating the companyβs compliance policies, including AML/CFT, in accordance with applicable local and international regulations. You will monitor and investigate suspicious transactions, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to relevant authorities. As the officially designated AMLRO, you will oversee the day-to-day AML operations and serve as the primary liaison with regulators. Additionally, you will maintain the companyβs data protection policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with ISO 27001:2022 and GDPR across all operational regions. Your role will involve cross-functional collaboration to embed compliance practices into business operations, ensuring that standards and procedures meet relevant regulatory requirements and local privacy laws.
