Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong technical background with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with 3+ years of experience in full stack engineering roles. Proven experience as a software engineer is essential, with a demonstrable ability to build complex, high-performance, and reliable systems. You have experience in developing tools for software analysis or in domains like compilers, runtime systems, or similar areas, which is highly valued. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is crucial, along with familiarity with software engineering tools and practices like Git and CI/CD pipelines. You possess knowledge of systems programming and understand how to work with large codebases, as well as the challenges involved in manipulating and understanding code at scale.

What you'll do

In this role, you will play a leading role in the design, development, and optimization of the Factory platform and all of its core services and internal systems. You will drive key areas, including search and indexing systems, core infrastructure, integrations, authentication services, billing and organization management, and internal developer experience. Enhancing the developer experience will be a priority, as you create and refine internal tooling to streamline the engineering experience, with an emphasis on usability, efficiency, and smooth onboarding. You will work closely with our AI researchers and engineers to ensure seamless integration between AI-driven components and the foundational systems that support them. Additionally, you will drive the adoption of best practices in code quality, security, and architecture design, contributing to a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
