You have a strong background in accounting with a focus on detail and precision — your experience includes managing month-end close processes and supporting audits. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency. You are passionate about improving processes and making them smarter and more scalable, ensuring that the financial backbone of the business is robust and reliable.
You understand the importance of accurate financial reporting and are committed to maintaining tight books — your attention to detail ensures that all financial records are precise and up to date. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement within financial operations, and you take initiative to implement changes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to partner effectively with various teams across the organization — you can articulate financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders, fostering a collaborative atmosphere. You are adaptable and open to feedback, always looking for ways to grow and develop in your role.
Desirable
Experience with financial software and tools is a plus, as is familiarity with the pet industry or technology sectors. A CPA or similar certification would be advantageous, demonstrating your commitment to the profession and your expertise in accounting principles.
