Who you are

You have 4-5 years of experience in accounting, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance with GAAP. Your attention to detail and accuracy ensures that all financial records are maintained to the highest standards. You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Your organizational skills enable you to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines without compromising quality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and G-Suite is essential, and familiarity with SAP and Blackline is preferred.

Desirable

A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, providing you with a solid foundation in financial principles and practices. Experience with SOX compliance processes and audit support will be advantageous as you navigate the complexities of financial regulations.

What you'll do

In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting through the month-end close and account reconciliation processes. You will participate in the monthly close process for various entities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling complex accounts, such as intercompany accounts. Your role will involve reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances and preparing adjusting journal entries as needed. You will also prepare monthly variance analysis and account reconciliations, supporting Accounts Payable with invoice and payment reconciliations. Reviewing bank transactions and performing bank reconciliations will be part of your responsibilities, along with analyzing merchant fees and reconciling payment processing to the general ledger.

You will provide support for audit requests and assist department staff as needed to meet strict deadlines. Researching accounting issues for compliance with GAAP will be a key aspect of your role, as well as assisting in audits and SOX compliance processes. Your analytical skills will be crucial in ensuring that all financial activities align with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
