Who you are
You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience, particularly in building scalable systems that handle complex data interactions. Your expertise in Java and Spring allows you to create high-performance applications that meet the needs of diverse clients in the financial sector. You understand the importance of security in digital asset management and have a mindset geared towards implementing best practices in this area.
You are familiar with REST API design and have experience working with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Your background includes integrating third-party data sources and accommodating various standards across different blockchains, which is crucial for the role at Fireblocks.
What you'll do
As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Assets Team, you will design and develop systems that support the management of digital assets for some of the largest financial institutions in the world. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that assets are modeled and represented optimally within the Fireblocks platform. Your role will involve orchestrating integrations with third-party services and ensuring that the systems you build are secure and efficient.
You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, guiding them through best practices in backend development and security.
