You are technically proficient and have a solid understanding of web application development, particularly in the context of SaaS platforms. While hands-on coding is preferred, you are equally comfortable engaging in technical design discussions and code reviews. You prioritize scalability, reliability, security, and quality in all engineering solutions. You are a strategic thinker who can balance technical and operational responsibilities effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a team of 8-10 software and quality engineers, guiding them in the development of customer-facing applications hosted on AWS. You will be responsible for ensuring that the engineering team delivers enterprise-grade products that meet the needs of hundreds of enterprise customers. You will engage in technical design and code reviews, providing feedback to ensure high standards are maintained. Your leadership will help cultivate a strong engineering culture focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with customer needs and business objectives. You will also be involved in operational ownership, ensuring that the products your team builds are not only functional but also maintainable and scalable. Your role will require you to be a mentor and coach to your team members, helping them grow in their careers while delivering exceptional value to customers.
