Who you are

You have 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, particularly in frontend development, and are skilled in building scalable applications. Your expertise includes Java and JavaScript, and you have a solid understanding of RESTful and gRPC APIs. You thrive in agile environments and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Architects, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

You are passionate about writing clean, maintainable code and have experience with cloud technologies, specifically AWS and Google Cloud Platform. Your familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes allows you to contribute effectively to CI/CD processes. You also have a strong focus on user experience and are committed to delivering reliable and efficient software.

Mentoring junior engineers is something you value, and you take pride in fostering a positive team culture. You understand the importance of ownership and accountability in your work, and you are always looking for ways to improve processes and standards within your team.

Desirable

Experience with Salesforce integrations, particularly OpenCTI and Service Cloud Voice, would be a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices will help you excel in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of an agile team responsible for developing a next-generation cloud contact center software. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering leaders to design and implement scalable solutions that meet customer needs. Your work will involve building and maintaining Java-based backend microservices while integrating with Salesforce using JavaScript.

You will be tasked with delivering software in both private and public cloud settings, ensuring high availability and performance. Your contributions will include writing and optimizing RESTful and gRPC APIs, as well as participating in code reviews and technical discussions to uphold the quality of the codebase.

As part of your responsibilities, you will also engage in mentoring junior engineers, helping them grow their skills and understanding of best practices. You will bring a positive attitude to the team, driving collaboration and innovation while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
