Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 2 years of experience in corporate financial planning and analysis, ideally within a SaaS environment. Your analytical acumen is high, and you possess exceptional financial modeling skills that allow you to navigate complex data with ease. You are detail-oriented and systematic, ensuring accuracy in all your financial reports and analyses. Your experience with planning systems such as Adaptive Insights, Host Analytics, or Oracle sets you apart, as does your advanced proficiency in Excel. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a team that values diversity and inclusion.

What you'll do

In this role, you will assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring key trends and assumptions related to headcount, capital expenditures, and operating expenses. You will prepare monthly and quarterly budget versus actual variance analyses, providing insights that drive financial decision-making. Working closely with the Accounting team, you will ensure the timeliness and accuracy of financial entries during the monthly close process. You will leverage Five9's financial systems to automate and scale current processes and reports, participating in new FP&A initiatives, including ad hoc analysis and process improvement. Your contributions will help shape the financial strategy of Five9 as it continues to grow.
