Who you are
You have significant experience in software development and testing, particularly in building and maintaining test automation frameworks. Your expertise in Java and Python allows you to implement reliable and scalable testing solutions that enhance product quality. You are familiar with modern testing tools and methodologies, and you understand the importance of collaboration within cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives.
You have a strong background in using Docker and Terraform for creating and managing testing environments. Your experience with Pytest demonstrates your ability to write effective test cases and automate testing processes. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement in the testing framework and are eager to contribute to the overall quality engineering efforts.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test at Fivetran, you will collaborate with the Database Connector team to enhance the existing test automation framework. Your role will involve developing new features and maintaining the framework using the latest technologies. You will coach team members on best practices in quality engineering and help integrate end-to-end testing into the product development lifecycle.
You will be responsible for implementing reliable testing strategies that ensure the quality of Fivetran's products.
