Your experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and GCP equips you to work effectively in modern data environments. You are familiar with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, which are essential for deploying and managing applications in a cloud-native architecture. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with teammates to achieve milestone goals and share knowledge.

You are detail-oriented and take pride in documenting your work and sharing information with your team. Your ability to follow up on incidents and prepare mitigation plans demonstrates your commitment to maintaining reliable operations. Desirable

Experience with Bazel and BuildKite is a plus, as these tools can enhance your workflow and improve build processes. Familiarity with data pipelines and the modern data stack will help you understand the broader context of your work at Fivetran.

What you'll do

In this role, you will implement functionality for the Core Experience area of the product, focusing on Pricing and Buying features. You will contribute to feature enhancements and bug fixes, ensuring that the software remains reliable and efficient. Your responsibilities will include writing well-structured code, optimizing existing code for performance, and improving test coverage to enhance software quality.

You will collaborate with your team to achieve project milestones, participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers. Your role will also involve documenting your work and sharing insights with the team to foster a culture of knowledge sharing. You will be responsible for following up on incidents, writing postmortems, and preparing mitigation plans to ensure continuous improvement in service reliability.
