You have extensive experience in technical accounting and financial reporting, with a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP. Your strategic mindset allows you to lead complex accounting matters and develop robust accounting policies that ensure the integrity of financial statements. You possess exceptional communication skills, enabling you to work cross-functionally with various teams and provide accounting guidance on significant business transactions. Your hands-on approach ensures that you remain engaged with the details while also focusing on the bigger picture of the company's growth and compliance needs.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting function, overseeing the development of accounting policies and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. You will be responsible for external financial reporting, including annual audits and statutory reporting, while preparing the company for potential SEC readiness efforts in the future. Your expertise will guide leaders in making well-informed decisions regarding significant business transactions, ensuring that the accounting function matures alongside the company's growth.
You will collaborate with various teams to provide accounting insights and support strategic initiatives. Your role will involve mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of excellence and compliance within the accounting department. You will also play a key role in shaping the future vision of the accounting function, aligning it with the company's mission and growth objectives.
