Job Description
Who you are
You have over 5 years of professional experience in accounting and financial reporting, demonstrating a strong understanding of USGAAP and IFRS standards. Your expertise includes managing complex accounting matters and ensuring compliance with external reporting requirements. You are proactive in identifying and resolving accounting issues, and you have experience leading policy initiatives related to new accounting standards. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams is essential for success in this role.
Desirable
Experience with M&A due diligence and integration is a plus, as is familiarity with statutory reporting requirements. You are detail-oriented and have a strong analytical mindset, allowing you to assess the impact of new accounting standards on the organization. Your leadership skills enable you to guide teams through strategic initiatives while addressing accounting impacts proactively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage the USGAAP reporting and other external reporting requirements, ensuring that financial results are accurate and compliant. You will support IFRS and statutory reporting as needed, collaborating with various departments to maintain proper accounting treatment. Your responsibilities will include leading policy initiatives and implementing new accounting standards, as well as continuously monitoring and communicating updates to the organization. You will also lead Financial M&A due diligence, partnering with Corporate Accounting to integrate transactions and communicate with Corporate Development and cross-functional teams.
