You have 7+ years of backend engineering experience building distributed applications and services — you've owned services from design through deployment and have navigated the complexities of debugging high-availability systems. You possess a deep understanding of performance and security, knowing when to prioritize each aspect in your work. Your proficiency in Scala and Python is complemented by experience with other backend languages like Java and .NET, allowing you to adapt to various project needs. You are familiar with DevOps practices and have worked with both SQL and NoSQL databases, understanding the importance of choosing the right database for the task at hand. Your agile mindset enables you to pivot quickly when project requirements change, ensuring that you remain effective in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do
