Deep expertise in Java and distributed systems — you've designed and implemented high-performance APIs and understand the intricacies of service architecture, data flow, and system reliability. Your experience allows you to navigate the complexities of scaling applications while maintaining performance and security.

You thrive in collaborative environments — you enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to influence engineering culture and best practices. What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Data Platform team, you will architect and build scalable services that are critical to the success of FloQast's product offerings. You will be responsible for shaping the technical direction of the platform, ensuring that it meets the needs of our users while maintaining high standards of performance and reliability.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features that enhance the user experience. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and conducting code reviews to uphold quality standards across the team.

You will also engage in troubleshooting and debugging complex issues, ensuring that our systems remain operational and efficient. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of accounting workflows, empowering teams with the tools they need to succeed.
