FloQast is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to drive technical impact in their Applications group. You'll partner with stakeholders to build core platform services and shape the architecture of the platform. This role requires significant technical leadership experience.

You are a seasoned Staff Software Engineer with a strong background in building and supporting core platform services. You have experience in shaping architecture and technical direction, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can partner with key stakeholders to drive innovation. What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for driving significant technical impact within the Applications group at FloQast. You will partner with key stakeholders to build critical core platform services that support various applications, from Close Management to Compliance. Your work will directly influence other application teams and enhance the user experience by accelerating innovation.
You will take the lead in defining the architecture and functional specifications for new features and services, ensuring that they align with the overall technical direction of the platform. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful implementation of solutions.
As a senior technical leader, you will mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team. You will also be involved in code reviews, ensuring that best practices are followed and that the quality of the codebase is maintained. Your contributions will help shape the future of FloQast's applications and drive the company's mission forward.
