You have a strong background in application security, with experience in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in software applications. You understand the importance of security in the software development lifecycle and are passionate about enabling engineers to build secure code without hindering their workflow. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Security, SRE, and Engineering. You are familiar with security best practices and tools, particularly those related to CI/CD processes. You thrive in a team-oriented environment and are eager to share your knowledge with others to foster a culture of security awareness.

Desirable

Experience with security frameworks and standards such as OWASP is a plus. Familiarity with cloud security practices and tools will also be beneficial in this role. You may have a background in software development, which helps you understand the challenges developers face when integrating security into their workflows.

What you'll do

As an Application Security Engineer at FloSports, you will be the bridge between the Security, SRE, and Engineering teams, ensuring that security is integrated seamlessly into the development process. You will work hands-on with developers to identify vulnerabilities in code and provide guidance on how to remediate these issues before they reach production. Your role will involve integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines, enabling teams to ship secure code faster. You will also conduct security training sessions for engineers, helping them understand security principles and best practices. Your contributions will directly impact the security posture of FloSports' digital platform, allowing the company to deliver world-class streaming services with confidence.
