Job Description
Who you are
You have at least 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a significant portion spent in lead or architect roles. Your background includes mentoring teams and providing technical guidance, ensuring that architectural decisions align with business goals. You excel in communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You are not just another senior developer; you bring leadership qualities that elevate team performance and foster innovation. Your hands-on experience allows you to contribute when necessary, but your primary focus is on setting the technical direction for the teams you lead.
Desirable
Experience with modern software architectures and cloud technologies is a plus. Familiarity with the travel industry or e-commerce platforms can help you understand the unique challenges faced by our clients. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment, collaborating with teams both in-person and remotely.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be the final decision-maker on technical matters, guiding teams in architectural improvements and best practices. You will work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to ensure that technical solutions meet business objectives. Your responsibilities will include proposing enhancements to existing architectures, leading technical discussions, and mentoring junior engineers to help them grow in their careers. You will also be involved in evaluating new technologies and tools that can enhance our development processes and improve overall efficiency.

At Flyr, we believe in empowering our employees to innovate and grow. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your ideas are valued.
