Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in network and cybersecurity, with a strong focus on website security and cloud infrastructure. Your technical expertise includes AWS and Cloudflare, and you are well-versed in cybersecurity best practices and frameworks such as OWASP. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can balance tactical execution with strategic planning, ensuring the security and resilience of digital platforms.
You have experience leading teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams. Your communication skills enable you to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical audiences, fostering a culture of security awareness within the organization. You are proactive in identifying potential security threats and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
What you'll do
As the Senior Manager of Network & Cybersecurity, you will oversee website and cloud security operations, ensuring the secure and reliable delivery of Forbes.com. You will lead a small team, providing mentorship and guidance while maintaining hands-on involvement in technical tasks. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing network and application defense strategies, conducting security assessments, and responding to incidents.
You will collaborate closely with various teams to integrate security practices into the development lifecycle, ensuring that security is a priority from the outset.
