Who you are

You have a strong technical background in 3D printing technologies, particularly SLA (stereolithography) and SLS (Selective Laser Sintering). Your experience allows you to act as a technical escalation point for customer issues, ensuring that you can effectively communicate troubleshooting steps to resolve in-field problems. You are detail-oriented and capable of investigating complex issues to uncover root causes, collaborating with R&D and documentation teams to deliver effective solutions. Your passion for customer service drives you to provide the best possible experience for users, and you thrive in a hands-on, innovative environment.

Desirable

Experience with customer support in a technical field is a plus, as is familiarity with engineering principles related to 3D printing. You are comfortable working in a diverse team and are eager to contribute to a culture of inclusivity and innovation. A background in mechanical engineering or a related field would enhance your ability to understand and resolve customer inquiries effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will gain deep technical knowledge of Formlabs' SLA and SLS product environments, becoming a key resource for both customers and internal teams. You will act as the technical escalation point for customer issues, developing and communicating troubleshooting steps to resolve in-field issues. Your responsibilities will include tracking the occurrence rate of ongoing and newly reported issues, ensuring that you maintain a comprehensive understanding of product performance in the field. You will collaborate closely with the Customer Services team to provide timely and effective support, enhancing the overall customer experience.

You will also investigate issues that require further analysis, partnering with R&D and documentation teams to deliver solutions that improve product reliability and user satisfaction. Your role will involve documenting technical processes and solutions, contributing to the knowledge base that supports both customers and internal staff. You will participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring that you remain at the forefront of 3D printing technology.
