Job Description

Who you are

You are a mid to senior level Product Designer with a strong background in UX/UI design and research — you have a passion for creating user-centered designs that drive engagement and satisfaction. Your experience includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet user needs and business goals. You are proficient in design tools like Figma and have a solid understanding of user research methodologies, enabling you to gather insights that inform your design decisions. You thrive in a remote work environment and are comfortable communicating effectively with team members across different locations.

You have a keen eye for detail and a strong aesthetic sense, which allows you to create visually appealing and functional designs. Your portfolio showcases a variety of projects that demonstrate your ability to balance user needs with business objectives. You are familiar with design systems and have experience in creating and maintaining them to ensure consistency across products. You are also open to feedback and continuously seek opportunities to improve your skills and knowledge in the field of design.

What you'll do

As a Senior Product Designer at FranklinCovey, you will be responsible for leading the design process for the 4DX Platform team — you will conduct user research to understand user needs and pain points, translating these insights into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that your designs are feasible and aligned with the overall product vision. Your role will involve iterating on designs based on user feedback and usability testing, ensuring that the final product delivers an exceptional user experience.

You will also contribute to the development of design guidelines and best practices, helping to foster a culture of design excellence within the organization. Your ability to advocate for the user will be crucial as you present your design concepts to stakeholders and gather input to refine your work. You will stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance the design process and outcomes.

FranklinCovey offers a competitive compensation package, with an anticipated salary range of $123-$170k for this position. You will have the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in the contiguous United States, allowing for a flexible work-life balance.
