What you'll do
As a Medical Assistant at Galileo, you will play a crucial role in our clinic by efficiently rooming patients and obtaining vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations, weight, and height. You will document these measurements in the EHR to maintain accurate patient records. Additionally, you will perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for laboratory testing, adhering to proper phlebotomy protocols. Your responsibilities will also include administering immunizations and supporting the care team in delivering high-quality healthcare services. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans that drive meaningful impact in our patients' lives. Your role is essential in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care in a supportive and welcoming environment.
