Who you are
You are an experienced, licensed Medical Assistant (MA) who thrives in a busy, patient-centered medical practice. You take pride in delivering excellent patient care and possess both strong clinical skills and emotional intelligence. You are tech-savvy and comfortable using technology to support patient care, ensuring efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient experiences. You have a team-first mindset and are a quick learner, ready to adapt to new workflows and tools. This is not an entry-level position, and you are eager to start ASAP.
What you'll do
In this role, you will perform hands-on clinical duties including EKGs, blood draws, and vital signs independently. You will prepare patients for exams and assist providers during visits and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record, preferably using Athena. Your professionalism, empathy, and clear communication will help deliver a high-quality patient experience. You will maintain exam rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies according to practice standards, anticipating provider needs to support smooth clinic flow. Effective communication with both clinical and administrative team members will be essential to ensure continuity of care.
What we offer
You will receive competitive hourly pay based on your experience, with the opportunity to work closely with providers and make a meaningful impact on patient care. The environment is supportive and team-oriented, valuing intelligence, empathy, and initiative. The schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with every other Thursday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The pay range is $20–$25/hour, based on experience.
