Who you are
You have a strong background in cybersecurity, particularly in threat detection and incident response — your experience includes working with various telemetry sources to identify and mitigate potential threats. You stay updated with the latest security trends and attack techniques, ensuring that your knowledge is current and applicable to real-world scenarios.
You possess excellent analytical skills, allowing you to conduct thorough investigations of security incidents — your ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights is a key strength. You are comfortable working in a startup environment, where adaptability and proactive problem-solving are essential.
What you'll do
In this role, you will develop and implement effective detection strategies to ensure comprehensive threat coverage across Galvanick's platform. You will be responsible for hunting and monitoring for threats using hundreds of telemetry sources, providing insights through monthly reports that summarize your findings and recommendations.
You will collaborate closely with other team members to enhance the threat hunting tools and methodologies employed by the company, ensuring they scale with Galvanick’s growth. Your role will also involve investigating and responding to security incidents, conducting thorough analyses to understand the nature and impact of each incident.
