You have over 7 years of experience in object-oriented development using C# and Microsoft .NET, demonstrating a strong foundation in software engineering principles. Your expertise extends to database management, where you are proficient in SQL and have experience with both Oracle and PostgreSQL. You are detail-oriented and possess strong verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate within a high-energy team environment.

Your technical skills include a solid understanding of JavaScript and React, which you have utilized to develop user interfaces and enhance application functionality. You are comfortable working across the application stack, ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems. While prior business knowledge is not mandatory, any experience in capital markets or fixed income trading will be a valuable asset in this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer (.Net) at Garda Capital Partners, you will be responsible for developing new line of business solutions that support the firm's Middle Office and Trade Support operations. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining applications that enhance analytics, portfolio management, and risk management functionalities. You will collaborate closely with the Research and Technology (R&T) team to ensure that all applications and infrastructure meet the firm's high standards for performance and reliability.

You will engage in the full software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements and designing solutions to implementing and testing your code. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code in C# and utilizing .NET technologies to create robust applications. You will also be responsible for integrating various systems and ensuring that data flows seamlessly between them.

In addition to development tasks, you will provide support for both in-house and third-party applications, diagnosing and resolving issues as they arise. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the stability and performance of trading desk systems, ensuring that they operate efficiently and effectively.
