Who you are

You have over 7 years of experience in software development, particularly with Microsoft .NET technologies, and have a strong command of C#. Your expertise extends to object-oriented programming, and you are comfortable working with various databases including SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL. You are proficient in JavaScript and React, enabling you to develop user-friendly applications. While prior knowledge of capital markets is not mandatory, any experience in this area will be a plus. You are a problem solver who enjoys diagnosing and fixing issues with trading desk systems and have a keen interest in building robust analytics platforms.

Desirable

Experience with WinForms and WPF is advantageous, as is familiarity with R for data analysis. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to support both in-house and third-party applications. Your background in mathematics or finance complements your technical skills, allowing you to understand the business context of your work.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing new line of business solutions that enhance the firm's analytics capabilities. You will design, develop, and support upgrades to the analytics platform, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the firm. Your work will involve collaborating with the Research and Technology team to build out the data platform, which is crucial for portfolio and risk management. You will also provide support for in-house applications and troubleshoot issues with trading desk systems, including analytics tools and vendor systems like Bloomberg and TradeWeb. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the firm's operations.
