You have a strong background in automation engineering, with experience in managing and maintaining automation systems such as SCADA and PLCs. Your expertise includes the initial installation, ongoing maintenance, and validation of these systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. You are detail-oriented and understand the importance of change control and periodic backups in maintaining system integrity. You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating with various internal departments to ensure seamless operations. Your problem-solving skills enable you to address issues proactively, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of automation systems.
Desirable
Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is a plus, as is familiarity with computerized QC Lab instruments. You are comfortable working in a regulated environment and understand the compliance requirements associated with automation in life sciences. A background in project management or experience with validation processes would further enhance your candidacy.
What you'll do
As an Automation Engineer at GenScript, you will be responsible for the administration and management of the siteβs automation systems.
