Overview

GenScript is seeking an Intern - Biotechnologist to synthesize targeted genes and perform various experimental procedures. You'll work with techniques such as PCR and plasmid construction in Singapore.

Who you are

You are an entry-level biotechnologist eager to gain hands-on experience in gene synthesis and related experimental procedures. You have a foundational understanding of molecular biology techniques, including PCR and plasmid construction, and are ready to apply your knowledge in a practical setting. You are detail-oriented and committed to following safety and production regulations in a laboratory environment. You thrive in collaborative settings and are excited to learn from experienced professionals in the biotechnology field.

What you'll do

In this role, you will synthesize targeted genes as per customer requirements, ensuring adherence to departmental rules and procedures. You will perform a series of experimental procedures, including PCR, ligation, transformation, and bacterial inspection, contributing to the development of innovative biotechnology solutions. You will also engage in data record analysis and result evaluation, ensuring that all findings are accurately documented. Your responsibilities will include following safety production management regulations and product production SOP requirements strictly, while operating experiments independently to achieve project goals.
