Overview

Alma is hiring a Senior Business Analyst specializing in Sales Analytics & Insights to drive analytical insights for their Payer organization. You'll work closely with Sales Operations, Finance, and Business Intelligence teams. This position requires strong skills in SQL and data visualization.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on sales analytics and insights. Your expertise in SQL allows you to extract and manipulate data effectively, enabling you to derive actionable insights that drive business decisions. You are proficient in data visualization tools, which you use to create compelling reports and dashboards that communicate complex data in an understandable way. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams including Sales Operations, Finance, and Product to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to present your findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your analytical mindset helps you to approach problems methodically, ensuring that your insights are data-driven and impactful. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for identifying trends and patterns in data that others might overlook. You are passionate about using data to inform strategic decisions and improve business performance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining ownership of all internal and external sales analytics for the Payer organization. You will drive analytical insights to inform internal strategic readouts on pipeline and performance, ensuring that the sales team has the information they need to succeed. You will partner closely with Sales Operations to streamline processes and improve efficiency, while also collaborating with Finance to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.

You will create data visuals that share insights and actions with external payer partners, serving as the subject matter expert for all things reporting and analytics. Your role will involve identifying opportunities for data-driven decision-making and providing recommendations based on your analyses. You will also be involved in developing and implementing new reporting tools and processes that enhance the team's capabilities.
