You are an experienced financial leader with a proven track record in overseeing accounting and financial management functions. You have a deep understanding of financial planning and budgeting processes, ensuring that all financial reports and statements are prepared accurately and timely. Your expertise in developing and maintaining effective internal controls safeguards organizational assets and enhances the reliability of financial reporting. You are skilled in managing procurement and purchasing activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. You thrive in a mission-driven environment and are passionate about leading teams to achieve financial excellence.
What you'll do
As the Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee all accounting and financial management functions, including financial planning, budgeting, and external reporting. You will direct the preparation and review of financial reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations. Your role will involve developing and maintaining effective internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets and ensure the reliability of financial reporting. You will manage and supervise all procurement and purchasing activities, leading year-end close activities and ensuring timely submission of required financial information. Additionally, you will prepare and issue official program-level and consolidated financial statements, including accompanying disclosures, while reviewing and auditing the financial terms and compliance of contracts, leases, and agreements.
