Who you are

You are an experienced financial leader with a strong background in accounting and finance. You possess comprehensive knowledge of governmental accounting practices and applicable federal and state regulatory requirements. Your executive leadership skills are complemented by sound judgment and strategic decision-making abilities. You have a proven track record of overseeing financial operations, including accounting, payroll, purchasing, risk management, and compliance reporting. You are adept at safeguarding organizational assets and promoting accountability across the agency.

You have a minimum of four to six years of professional accounting experience, including at least two years in a supervisory capacity overseeing professional or paraprofessional accounting staff. A CPA certification is preferred, and you are comfortable working under the general direction of the CEO while being subject to independent audits and regulatory oversight.

What you'll do

As the Chief Financial Officer at GHJ, you will direct all accounting, financial management, and financial reporting activities. You will ensure the financial integrity of the organization and safeguard its assets. Your responsibilities will include overseeing employee benefits administration, tax reporting, and compliance reporting. You will also manage organizational technology systems, including hardware management and enterprise software platforms. Your role will require you to collaborate closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to drive strategic financial initiatives and ensure the organization meets its financial goals.
