You have a strong background in financial management and grant oversight, ideally with experience in nonprofit organizations. You understand the intricacies of budget development and financial compliance, and you are skilled at delivering clear financial insights that support strategic decision-making. Your ability to partner cross-functionally with finance, programs, development, and contracts teams is essential for strengthening financial systems and ensuring responsible resource management.
You are mission-driven and passionate about supporting organizational sustainability. Your experience in financial planning allows you to lead the development and management of operating budgets effectively. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to convey complex financial information in an understandable manner to various stakeholders.
What you'll do
In this role, you will play a central part in the financial planning process, leading the development and management of the organizationβs operating budget. You will oversee grant financial compliance, ensuring that all financial activities align with grant requirements and organizational policies. Your role will involve delivering clear financial insights that support strategic decision-making, helping the organization to achieve its mission and goals.
You will collaborate closely with the Chief Operating Officer and other teams to strengthen financial systems and ensure responsible resource management. Your insights will be crucial in supporting long-term growth and sustainability for the organization. You will also be responsible for monitoring financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement based on your analyses.
