You have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role. You understand the intricacies of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, and you have a proven track record of embedding finance as a strategic partner within organizations. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to derive insights from complex data sets and communicate them effectively to stakeholders. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business success.
You are passionate about the nonprofit sector and understand the unique challenges and opportunities it presents. Your experience in fintech or SaaS companies is a plus, as it equips you with the knowledge to navigate the financial landscape of organizations that empower changemakers. What you'll do
As the Director of FP&A, you will own the end-to-end forecasting and planning processes for Givebutter. This includes developing and maintaining company-level models, departmental budgets, and rolling re-forecasts that provide clarity on our growth path. You will work directly with the VP of Finance and the executive team to ensure that financial strategies align with our mission and objectives. Your role will involve analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and making recommendations to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
You will lead the financial planning process, ensuring that all departments are aligned with the overall financial goals of the organization. Your insights will guide decision-making at the highest levels, helping to shape the future of Givebutter as we continue to empower nonprofits. You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing your team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
