You have 5+ years of experience in data science, with a strong foundation in statistical analysis and machine learning techniques. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with software engineers, product managers, and designers to translate complex data into actionable strategies. Your experience in data visualization tools enables you to present findings clearly and persuasively to stakeholders. You are passionate about using data to solve real-world problems and improve payment success rates while minimizing fraud.
Desirable
Experience in the fintech industry is a plus, as is familiarity with open banking and payment systems. What you'll do
As a Senior Data Scientist at GoCardless, you will own the full lifecycle of algorithms that enhance payment solutions. You will analyze bank account data to identify patterns and trends that can improve payment success rates and reduce fraud. Collaborating with the Payment Intelligence team, you will design and implement machine learning models that drive intelligent decision-making for our customers. You will also conduct experiments to validate the effectiveness of your models, iterating based on feedback and results. Your role will involve presenting your findings to stakeholders, ensuring that data-driven insights are integrated into product development and strategy.
