Who you are
You are a seasoned Staff Software Development Engineer with a proven track record in full-stack development. You have extensive experience in designing and implementing system-level integrations, and you are comfortable coordinating transactions and rollback strategies. Your expertise in modern front-end web development technologies, particularly React and Node.js, allows you to create efficient and maintainable code that adapts to changing needs.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy mentoring and leading engineers to ensure the success of cross-organizational initiatives. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior leadership, enables you to set the technical direction for highly visible projects. You are passionate about building reusable code that enhances the GoDaddy engineering ecosystem and improves the customer shopping experience.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for building and enhancing GoDaddy's public web presence. You will lead technical solutions and architecture for new and complex functions, partnering with multiple engineering teams to drive collaborative solutions. Your hands-on approach will involve writing well-factored, well-tested code that meets the needs of various stakeholders.
You will also mentor and influence other engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team. Your contributions will directly impact the customer experience, as your code will be used across multiple brands within the GoDaddy ecosystem. You will have the opportunity to work remotely while occasionally visiting GoDaddy offices for team events and meetings.
