Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable systems and applications. Your expertise includes working with modern JavaScript frameworks and backend technologies, allowing you to contribute effectively to both frontend and backend development.
You possess a keen eye for detail, especially when it comes to analyzing legal documents and business requirements. This skill is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of document-related processes within the organization.
Your technical background includes proficiency in React and Node.js, and you are comfortable working with TypeScript and NestJS. You have experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, and understand how to leverage serverless architectures to build efficient applications.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers and fellow engineers to deliver high-impact features. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly makes you an asset to cross-functional teams.
Desirable
Experience with event-driven architectures and tools like Kafka is a plus, as it aligns with the innovative solutions GoodLeap is developing. Familiarity with document lifecycle management systems will also enhance your contributions to the team.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer at GoodLeap, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing solutions that enhance document lifecycle management. You will work on both greenfield projects and system enhancements, continuously pushing the boundaries of technology to create impactful solutions.
Your responsibilities will include collaborating with engineers and product managers to define requirements and deliver high-quality features. You will be involved in the entire development process, from initial design through deployment and maintenance, ensuring that the systems you build are scalable and efficient.
You will also be responsible for analyzing legal documents and business requirements, ensuring that all document-related processes are accurate and compliant. Your attention to detail will be essential in maintaining the integrity of the systems you develop.
In addition to your technical contributions, you will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. You will participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance the overall quality of the codebase.
