You possess a deep understanding of trading infrastructure and have experience in building and maintaining end-to-end systems — from data analysis to production execution. Your coding practices adhere to high standards, ensuring that both new and existing programs are robust and efficient. You are comfortable pushing impactful code changes to production and are always looking for ways to improve system performance.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer at Optiver, you will establish the vision and technical direction for machine learning-driven trading systems that maintain our competitive edge in futures and equities trading. You will partner deeply with researchers to tackle complex, high-value business problems, ensuring that our trading infrastructure is both innovative and reliable. Your role will involve building and maintaining the end-to-end trading infrastructure, which includes everything from research to production execution.
You will contribute to the Optiver stack and our pricing, research, and trading models from ideation through to implementation. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all programs adhere to our coding, architectural, and operational standards. You will also be expected to mentor junior engineers and share your knowledge across the team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
