Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. With 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, you possess a deep understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes such as ordering, subscription management, invoicing, and business recognition. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with multi-site engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet user and customer needs.
Your experience leading all aspects of web development includes requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance for both in-house and customer-facing web applications. You are empowered to act like an owner, taking initiative to innovate and bridge potential gaps within the distributed engineering team. Your role as the on-site engineering point of contact for Cloud Order-to-Cash systems allows you to engage effectively with local business users and Product Managers.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the development and management of seamless, scalable, and efficient Order-to-Cash systems and processes for Google Cloud. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Google Cloud's Ordering and Finance users, ensuring alignment with broader team objectives. Your responsibilities will include making informed decisions, supporting users through various program launches, and acting as a key technical representative for the team on-site. You will also be involved in the integration of Google's first-party systems with third-party enterprise systems like SAP, tackling unique and complex challenges that arise from Google Cloud's scale and variety of offerings.
