Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. With 12 years of experience working with SAP ABAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, you have a deep understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes such as ordering, subscription management, and invoicing. You are comfortable collaborating with multi-site engineering teams and have experience driving technical strategy and roadmap execution in complex business domains. You excel at translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, leading all aspects of web development, requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance for both in-house and customer-facing web applications.
What you'll do
In this role, you will work closely with a cross-functional team of Googlers, using UI and functional specs/prototypes as input to develop innovative solutions that meet user and customer needs. You will be empowered to act like an owner, taking action and innovating to ensure high-quality engineering output. Your responsibilities will include collaborating effectively with Product Management and other engineering teams to deliver customer success while influencing stakeholders across different teams and organizations to align on technical direction and best practices. You will drive improvements in system design, code health, testing, and operational efficiency, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
