Google is seeking a Business Analyst for their gTech team to provide data-driven insights and problem-solving support. You'll analyze data sets and communicate actionable recommendations to senior executives. This role requires 3 years of experience in data analytics or a related field.
Job Description
Who you are
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Quantitative Science, or a related technical field, or possess equivalent practical experience. With at least 3 years of experience in data analytics, consulting, data science, engineering, or a technical operations role, you have honed your skills in statistical problem solving and analyzing data sets using SQL or comparable coding languages such as Python or R. You have a solid understanding of engineering practices, including the development of BRDs, PRDs, and Design Docs, and are familiar with checking in and reviewing code. Your excellent problem-solving skills enable you to synthesize data into useful formats and communicate actionable insights effectively.
Desirable
Experience in a Sales or Customer Service environment is preferred, as is knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques, including experimental analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to tackle complex business challenges.
What you'll do
As a Business Analyst in the gTech Ads organization, you will immerse yourself in data collection and draw insights from your analyses. You will develop compelling, synthesized recommendations and communicate these effectively to senior-level executives. Your role will involve solving strategic and operational problems by conducting thorough analyses, architecting metrics, and synthesizing information to influence business decision-making.
