Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, along with 9 years of experience debugging codes in languages such as Java, C, C++, .NET, Python, Shell, Perl, or JavaScript. Your expertise extends to networking technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, Load-Balancing, and more. You are familiar with certifications like CCNP, CCIE, and CKA, and have experience in troubleshooting network issues using techniques like packet-capture and load testing. Your background includes implementing and administering network infrastructure devices, and you possess knowledge of cloud networking solutions and distributed-computing technology.
Desirable
While not required, experience with open source software communities and hybrid/multi-cloud connectivity is a plus. You are comfortable working in shifts and have a strong understanding of virtual/container networking and web technologies.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be part of the Google Cloud team, helping organizations transition to Google products while resolving technical deployment issues. You will advocate for customer needs by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product and Engineering, to enhance Google Cloud offerings. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting network-latency and performance issues, ensuring customer support globally, and working non-standard hours as needed. You will also engage with customers to understand their issues and drive improvements in the product.
