Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience. With 5 years of experience reading or debugging code, you are proficient in languages such as Java, C, C++, .NET, Python, Shell, Perl, or JavaScript. Your ability to communicate fluently in English enables you to effectively manage client relationships in the region.

You possess experience using techniques like packet capture and analysis, artificial packet creation, load testing, and traffic path analysis to troubleshoot network latency and packet loss. Your familiarity with cloud solutions, including SQL database administration and Google App Engine, complements your technical skills. You have a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, Routing, VPNs, VLANs, Peering, and Load Balancing, which allows you to implement and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop an in-depth understanding of Google Cloud networking technologies and improve their supportability by collaborating with product engineering teams. You will work closely with these teams on product launches and help them understand customer issues to enhance existing products. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting network performance issues at the packet level and implementing solutions that ensure reliability and scalability for clients.

You will also be responsible for administering and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, ensuring that they operate efficiently and effectively. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest networking technologies and practices, allowing you to provide the best support to clients and contribute to the continuous improvement of Google Cloud networking solutions.
