Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, along with 3 years of experience working with data processing software such as Hadoop, Spark, Pig, and Hive. Your expertise includes algorithms like MapReduce and Flume, and you are proficient in writing software in languages such as Java, C++, Python, Go, or JavaScript. You have experience managing client-facing projects and troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating effectively with Engineering and Sales Services teams.

You are familiar with data warehouses and their technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT processes, and reporting/analytic tools. Your background includes working with Big Data, information retrieval, data mining, or machine learning, and you have experience building applications using modern web technologies like NoSQL, MongoDB, SparkML, and TensorFlow. You are skilled in architecting and developing production-grade Big Data solutions in virtualized environments.

What you'll do

As a Data Engineer for the Analytics, Insights and Measurement (AIM) team, you will play a crucial role in helping customers grow their businesses through trusted analytics, insights, and measurement while ensuring user privacy. You will collect, process, and store data from various sources, implementing data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data science, engineering, product managers, sales, and finance, to understand data requirements and deliver effective data solutions.

You will enhance data infrastructure for performance and efficiency to meet evolving business needs, ensuring that the systems you build are scalable and reliable. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, as well as managing client-facing projects to ensure successful outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative data solutions that drive insights and support decision-making across the organization.
